Talk Abstract:
August is here, and so is the new Annual 2022 Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Emerging Technologies!
Gartner has distilled more than 2,000 technologies into 25 key emerging
technologies that have the potential to move the needle for early adopters over the next two to 10 years.
This year Gartner has grouped the new emerging technologies along three themes: 1. Expansion of immersive experiences,2. Acceleration of AI Automation and 3. Optimization of technologist delivery.
Technologies to watch in the immersive experiences category include metaverse, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Web3, digital humans, digital twin of the customer.
In AI automation, they have focused on technologies like autonomic systems, causal AI, generative design AI, and machine learning code generation.
For technology delivery optimization, technologists will rely on new ways to deliver digital products and services, including: computational storage, data observability, open telemetry, cloud data ecosystems, cloud sustainability, cybersecurity mesh architecture, and industry cloud platforms.
In this seminar Dr. Kao will present the latest 2022 Emerging Technology Hype Chart, explain what a hype chart is and many of the new technologies on the chart.
Come and join us to learn more about new technologies such as Metaverse, Non Fungible tokens, digital twins, Causal and Generative AI, Web 3, as well as sustainability, observability, and viability concepts.
